Pet care experience
I have been a pet owner since the day I was born - from cats, to dogs, fish, hamsters, rabbits, lizards, snakes - you name it, I've had it. I have experience with both small and large dogs, owning a range from as small as Shih Tzus to as big as Akitas and Malamutes. My current pets include a one year old border collie/Australian cattle dog mix, two cats, and three Holland Lop buns, just to give you an idea of the amount and variety of animal handling I do on a daily basis in my personal life. Professionally, I’ve been in the pet care industry for six years. On weekends, I volunteer at a local shelter working with dogs, and am continually enrolling in courses and workshops to expand my knowledge of dogs and their needs.
Reviews
Crystal has been great with Pappy . Responsible , friendly , dedicated to my Yellow lab I'm so happy we were able to have her walk Pappy . Thank you !
She’s awesome! Worked with our dogs needs )anxiety and reactive) 10/10 recommend
Crystal was great! This was Bo's first drop in visit and they had a great game of frisbee. Perfect way to break the pooch in to new friends!
Crystal is an absolute gem! I needed to schedule her very urgently and she responded immediately. My dogs love their walks with her! She is responsible and you can tell she is an animal person from the get-go. She adapts to my dogs moods and is super understanding of their needs. I would 100% recommend Crystal!

Safety, trust & environment
Regarding safety in our home, we utilize crates and gates as needed to separate kids and pups, and ensure everyone gets regular breaks/space from one another. As the parents of two young children, safety is our utmost priority and as such, we only accept dogs who are crate trained to board with us. While our children have wonderful dog etiquette, I will not accept any dogs that are not good with children or who have never been around children. Likewise, I do not accept dogs who are known to not get along with cats.

Information Crystal M. would like to know about your pet
Currently, I am only boarding small dogs. Due to children being present in the home, I also cannot accept dogs with any bite history or aggression. I require a Meet & Greet before all bookings to ensure a good fit for both my family and your dog. All dogs must be fully house broken, up to date on all vaccines and flea and tick preventative in order to board with us. Please let me know if your dog has any particular dog quirks I should know about - such as barking, digging, chewing of household items. These traits will not necessarily disqualify your dog from staying with us, but are important for me to know in order to provide the best possible care.
A typical day
We are lucky to live less than two miles to a private residents-only town beach that I love to bring dogs to. During your pups stay, you can expect him to receive multiple play sessions in our fully fenced backyard each day, as well as walks and the occasional field trip to places such as the beach or local trails.

Availability
My husband and I both work from home, so we are generally both home full time to give your pups all the attention and love they could ever need. That being said, we do continue to live our lives when boarding pups and will occasionally run errands, go out to eat, etc - but you can rest assured knowing your furry friend will never be left alone for more than a couple hours. Unlike traditional kennels and boarding facilities, we only board dogs from one family at a time. This ensures your dog gets all the attention s/he could ever want and helps them feel more comfortable in an unfamiliar environment.
