This was my second time using her services, and I must say she continues to exceed my expectations. Crystal's communication and updates are top-notch, providing me with peace of mind when I'm out of town. It's a great relief to have such a trustworthy person taking care of my fur baby.

I recently had the pleasure of entrusting my dog to Crystal through Rover, and I couldn't be more grateful for the wonderful care she provided. As a first-time Rover user, I was initially anxious about leaving my beloved pet in unfamiliar hands. However, from our very first meet and greet, Crystal exuded warmth, professionalism, and genuine affection for animals which instantly put my mind at ease. Throughout my time away, Crystal kept me updated with regular photo updates about my dog's day, ensuring I never felt too far from my furry son. Her unwavering commitment to the wellbeing and happiness of my dog was evident in every interaction, making it clear she views pet sitting as more than just a job. Should I need to travel again, Crystal will undoubtedly be my first call. Beyond overnight stays, I am confident in her capabilities to handle drop-ins, as her caring and attentive nature shines through in all she does. Thank you, Crystal, for not only taking exceptional care of my doggo but also for the peace of mind you offered me during my time away. Highly recommended. 10/10.

Safety, trust & environment

For boarding clients: I live with my husband, our 3 year old son and my mother. I will be the primary caregiver for your pet(s) but my family will be around and will be able to help provide care and coordinate drop off/pick ups on the occasions I have to step out of the house for an errand or doctors appointment. I do ask that all pets be okay with small children. If your pet has never been around small children, this can be addressed at a meet and greet. They will never be left alone together unsupervised. I often have at least one walk/drop in scheduled a day so in order for all of my clients to receive timely care, drop off and pick up times are by appointment only. I do require all drop off/pick up times to be within a one hour window. If your plans change and you are no longer able to drop off/pick up your pet(s) during that window, a new appointment can be made at a time that works for us both. I will modify the booking to reflect the change in times and additional payment, if applicable. All modifications will need to be accepted before drop off/pick up. I will always do my best to be accommodating. For walk/drop in clients: As a stay at home mom I will have to bring my toddler with me on days I do not have alternate child care. He will stay in his stroller for the duration of the walk/visit and your pet(s) will still receive the highest quality of care. For all bookings: Upon booking, please provide the name and phone number of your veterinarian's office and the name and phone number of a local emergency contact. I have never had a pet experience a medical emergency under my care but I know anything can happen and I like to be prepared just in case.

Information Crystal H. would like to know about your pet

Before caring for your pets, I like to learn as much about them I can so I can provide specialized care catered to their needs and keep their routines as close as possible to how they are at home. Important things for me to know include: • Meal schedule and amount given per meal • Potty break schedule • Are they housebroken • How long can they be left alone for • Energy level • Any medical conditions or if they take any medications – if so, how are they administered and when • How are they with small children • Do they have separation anxiety and if so, how severe is it and what behavior do they exhibit when you leave them alone or with a sitter • How are they in terms of chewing and/or digging • Do they have any quirks/behaviors I should know about • Are they spayed/neutered • Are they up to date on vaccinations and on flea/tick prevention • Do they display any signs of aggression or bark excessively For dogs only: • Are they crate trained • Time(s) of day you walk them and frequency For cats only: • Do they have both sets of claws • How often is their litter box changed If you've read my profile to the end and this is your first time booking with me, please mention the phrase "first time $5 discount" in your opening message to receive $5 off of our first booking together!

A typical day

A typical day involves playing together, hanging around outside in my backyard enjoying the fresh air, going on a walk and get their energy out, or just be cuddled up on the couch binge watching Netflix. My son also really enjoys playing with dogs and cats and loves to run around with/pet them. *While my backyard is not fenced in, I do have a 20ft chain leash staked into the ground to attach to dogs' collars/harnesses so they have the option to run around my yard carefree when the weather is nice. However, dogs will never be left outside unsupervised. I or a member of my family will be outside with them at all times to ensure their utmost safety. Dogs will only go on this leash with previously expressed permission from pet parents. Otherwise, they will go outside only on the leashes provided by pet parents.* I want your animals to feel safe, comfortable and at home while they are with me.

Your precious small pets are welcomed with love and open arms. I treat each and every dog, cat and other small pets that come into my home or go see in your own home as my own so you can have peace of mind knowing your beloved pets are receiving attentive, personalized one on one care in a home environment so they can be comfortable and happy while you are away; not locked in a cage all day with little to no stimulation like they would be at a boarding facility. I strive to always provide only the highest quality of care and service for both clients and pets for complete satisfaction. I have over 20 years of experience caring for a variety of animals and have worked with many different breeds of dogs and cats. I also have experience with and offer pet care for: rabbits, hamsters, guinea pigs and other rodents, birds, fish, frogs, lizards, snakes and other reptiles. I have been a professional pet sitter for 7 years and specialize in: caring for pets with medical conditions and administering oral/topical medications as well as giving injections, dogs with separation anxiety, training and around the clock care for puppies, senior pet care, providing pets mild to moderate exercise, helping socialize dogs and cats and much more.
