My first memory of a dog was my grandmother’s pup, Oso, or “bear” in Spanish. I showered him with attention whenever we visited and my grandma taught me how to walk and care for him. One day I was walking him and another stray dog became aggressive and growled at us. Oso fought him off and made sure I was protected from getting hurt. We both made it home safe and that memory of Oso’s loyalty and bravery has always stuck with me. I now have two beautiful fur babies of my own who add joy to my life every day. My friends and family all know me as the animal lover of our group, and I am consistently entrusted to watch over their pups while they’re away. This inspired me to work with Rover and I still can’t believe that hanging out with and caring for dogs is something I am paid for, as it’s how I’d spend my free time anyway! I have this undying devotion to ensure every dog I come across leaves knowing I am fun, trustworthy and fully invested in their happiness. I have endless amounts of love to give and I can’t wait to shower your pup with my love and affection as well! I always take my time when getting to know a new pup, and never force my agenda upon them. Greeting them at their level of comfort and height and giving them the time they need to get used to my presence usually works well. Sometimes I’ll even bring a treat or two if more encouragement is needed! Once they get to know me, I keep our time together interesting with games, walks, relaxing and fun activities. In my home, I allow the pets on the couches and furniture so they feel like family, but if you have an issue with this, just let me know! Before a session I make sure I completely understand what your expectations are and adhere to your instructions regarding medications, habits, activity level and special requests. I want to provide the best care possible and I do that by tending to your pup’s individual needs! Finally, I am a stay-at-home mom and have a ton of time to dedicate to you and your pup!
