Pet care experience
I have owned and cared for animals my entire life, including small and large dogs, cats and other exotic animals who needed rescuing. I have volunteered at The Humane Society and volunteered/shadowed a veterinarian at a small animal hospital for over 100 hours. I began my college career as a pre-veterinarian major, before switching to human medicine. Over the years I have also looked after and cared for dogs and cats while owners have been out of town. I am now a Physician Assistant, a recent graduate living in an apartment downtown. I have just started training for my job, so there are some days when I will only be available for walks/drop-ins after normal work hours.

My apartment is located right in front of Yeatman's Cove, Smale Riverfront Park, and down the street from Fido Field, a dog park. There is tons of grassy space, fields and paths to walk your pets along the river. My puppy is a 42 pound hound mix that absolutely LOVES playing with other dogs, of all sizes. So, she would be very happy if she got to hang with a friend for the day/night! She has never been introduced to a cat yet, however.

I have no breed preferences. Anything that you think I should be aware of, whether it's issues with other pets we may see in public, when/what they should be fed, as well as any medications they need to take, would be appreciated. I would also like to know if your pet gets easily anxious or aggressive!
A typical day
Whatever your pet enjoys and whatever you as an owner feels comfortable with! If they enjoy frequent walks, belly scratches, playing with their favorite toy, or visiting a dog park, I am open to anything.
