House Trained: Yes Gyzmo is litter-box trained, doesn't jump on furniture or counters, will "talk" to you and will also drink out of the toilet, play fetch, and come when called! He's full of entertainment. :)
Gets along with children: Yes Gyzmo ADORES kids. He is INCREDIBLY tolerant of our once-toddler (the age of my son when we rescued Gyzmo), now-preschooler.
Gets along with other dogs: No My cat doesn't like dogs but he has free reign of a separate part of our home which is away from where your dog will be staying. This is for everyone's safety and to avoid conflict as well as assure our resident furr-baby, as well as our visiting furr-baby (your 4-legged family member), are as comfortable as can possibly be!
Gets along with cats: No Gyzmo, our cat, is FIV+. This means we cannot have him around other cats, for their safety, as it's possible for Gyzmo to transmit this immune-deficiency virus. Don't worry - your cat can't get it from being around me; it's not something that is carried or transmitted from my skin or clothing after being in contact with Gyzmo. It can only transmit directly from Gyzmo to another cat. No worries! I take EVERY precaution (which is why we CANNOT have cats stay at our home, only dogs - they can't catch this!).
