I have had dogs my entire life, and have experience with high energy breeds, and managing anxiety in dogs. I am a passionate pet owner myself that is patient, reliable, and believes in positive reinforcement only.

Crystal was able to accommodate me to provide a very last minute drop-in visit the night of New Year’s Eve and I am so grateful! She took the time to provide not only for my dog that she was there for, but for my kitty too. She even offered to bring her own treats as a way to help Tootsie warm up to her. Would recommend and book with her again ☺️

My home has both a resident cat and 2 dogs. My older dog is nervous with strangers and will need to meet any dogs prior to boarding or day care services, and my cat is fully indoors. Dogs with dog or cat reactivity or who are bad with boundaries are probably a better fit for my drops in visits. We have about a half acre fenced in backyard so all dogs can enjoy the outdoors while staying in eyesight. Dogs at our home do not go outside unattended, and are crated for their safety when nobody is home.

Meet and Greets are required for all services! Please let me know if your dog has any special needs or behaviors I should know about. For Boarding and Doggy Day Care, your dog must meet with my dogs prior to ensure they’re a good fit. Dogs must be able to safely be in a crate if I need to leave for any reason. For safety reasons, all dogs are separated if they aren’t being directly supervised. For the safety of my cat, no dogs are permitted to stay in our home if a topical pest medication was applied within 48 hours of their visit.
A typical day
We have a backyard bordering a forest with lots of interesting and smelly sniff spots, and a large active home filled with fun and enriching toys and open spaces for zoomies. We also live near a Toledo metropark and walking trails. If your dog is a super chewer, please let me know ahead of time so that only heavy chewing safe toys are left out during their stay.

I am a fully remote employee, so I can be available both weekends and weekdays. Pet care fits into my schedule easily and naturally, as I already care for my own pets.
