I have been a pet owner for 15+ years and casually been dog-sitting for friends and family members for several years. I am a big fan of animals, with a special spot in my heart for dogs. I work in the healthcare field on a part-time basis 10-15hrs/week. I make my own schedule so I can always schedule in time to tend to your dog if I happen to work on a day that I am dog-sitting. Your dog would never be left more than 4 hours while in my care. I have one small, friendly dog that lives in my home and I never leave him longer than that either. In the case of an emergency in which I could not make it back for some reason, I have family that lives close by who would be glad to help. I promise to treat your fur baby just like my own - with plenty of love, snuggles, and free run of the house when I’m home. I prefer a crate for the times I may need to leave the house and for overnight (unless you have a small dog that is used to sleeping in the bed and house trained, in which case that is usually fine with me). My availability varies, but I try to accommodate requests when possible.
