Vet Tech helping pets and parents

Pet care experience

I’ve been working with animals of all species for over 10 years. I’ve worked as a dog trainer, dog groomer, veterinary technician, wildlife Rehabber, and zoo animal trainer. I am currently a student at UCLA and hopefullyVeterinary school soon after. I’ve cared for hundreds of animals and would like to help care for yours as well. I am also currently working at an animal emergency so I have experience handling on the fly situations.

Cruz is absolutely the best! There are only a few people I trust with my fur babies and she is one of them. Not only does she have a sixth sense with animals, she was also a vet tech. So I know if any issues were to arise while my animals were under her care, they would be in the best hands. I cannot recommend Cruz enough.

Cruz is a fantastic animal care giver. Her experience as a vet tech and pet behavior trainer has put me at ease with her caring for my pets. She is passionate about providing the best advice and fantastic at providing support during difficult times in our fur babies life.

Cruz is very dedicated to animals and has a true passion for their well being. I have worked with her in multiple capacities around animals and their well being is always prioritized and communicated.

Cruz will not only be amazing at looking after and interacting with your loved babies but she will also be able to know what to do in case of an emergency because of her previous experience as a vet tech. If you are looking for someone who will undoubtedly and wholeheartedly care for your pet as if they were their own, then Cruz is the one; One hundred percent.

Safety, trust & environment

I care for my pets and clients’ pets by tending to their specific needs. I have clients with diabetic animals that require medical care and special meal plans which I tend to. I also have clients with pets who require a lot of enrichment and play time so I do a lot of training with them. In short I provide a safe and specialized service for each client based on needs and requirements.

Information Cruz F. would like to know about your pet

Important information I need ahead of time for any pet is their temperament with stimuli whether that be people or other animals or just environmental changes. Since safety is my first concern I make sure I know of any food and or environmental allergies. I would also like to know beforehand if the pet has any triggers either positive or negative to help make our interaction as seamless as possible.

A typical day

I’ve learned throughout the years that all pets require mental and physical stimulation tailored to their specific needs. Whether that means long hikes, walks, runs, agility training or enrichment programs designed with each pet in mind. Enrichment programs can include treat, or smell lures. I practice safety first no matter what the activity is.
