Pet care experience
I love my fur babies....they are as much a part of my life as my human ones. They share our furniture, our beds at home and on vacation. With my house quickly becoming an empty nest ( my sons are growing up and moving out) I’m finding myself at a little bit of a loss...I need a bit more of a purpose, and that purpose is loving and helping you care for your fur babies! Whether you need dropin or boarding, I have a lifetimes experience of pet ownership. I also worked at the Bakersfield SPCA and continue to volunteer for animal charities. My son is a veterinarian so help is just a phone call away!

Cristy made every effort to make Belle feel comfortable while we were away. Her personal feedback for the summary of each visit on the Rover card per drop in gave peace of mind. I know Belle will miss Cristy coming twice a day and giving her cuddles, tickles, brushing and playtime.
Cristy is a true animal lover! I've know her for decades and can attest to her love of animals and the great care she gives them. I would trust her with my own pets.

I have a large fenced yard with a pool. Pets are given run of the house and are supervised outside. I do have two small dogs (corgi and yorkie) and two cats and a three year old in the house so your pet needs to be okay with dogs cats and kids.

I would need to know how the dog feels about cats, since we have two lounging around at any time. Our corgi has a love/chase relationship with them which is okay, just as long as we don’t have to fear for their safety.
A typical day
Walks to the park for some play are always fun. We have tons of toys thanks to Bark Box. If your dog likes to swim, we can have pool fun. If your dog is not a pool dog, I can safely help him to avoid it.
