Pet care experience
My love for animals started as a young child when I began helping my mom around the farm feeding and caring for the chickens, turkeys, ducks, cats, and dogs! I've been surrounded by animals my entire life and have always enjoyed caring for my friends and family members pets. All of my pets have been a wonderful extension to my family and I will always treat animals with the respect and love they deserve.

It’s the 2nd time Christey took care of our two kittens and she was amazing just like the first time around. So glad we found her!
We recently had to take a month long trip and were very worried to leave our two 8-month old kittens alone. Thank goodness we found Christey! She was willing to spend several hours with them each day and even stay over when she was could. We can tell our kittens were happy and well taken care of based on the pictures and updates she sent. Christey also took good care of our house and upon return, it was as clean as we left it. We highly recommend Christey and will definitely seek her service again!
Cristey is a kind and responsible person whose loving nature extends to humans and animals alike! She is energetic yet patient, which makes her a perfect fit for dogs from all walks of life. I wouldn’t trust anyone more to take care of and walk my dogs. You won’t be disappointed!

If a fenced yard is not available, I always take pets outside with a lease and bags to clean up anything left behind. Depending on the clients preference for pets left home alone for any period of time, I will always make sure the animal has access to food, water, and toys, has pottied beforehand, and placed into their designated crate if necessary.

Its important for me to know how your pet does with other animals in case I'm out on a walk and need to be extra vigilant about other dogs approaching your pet. Its also helpful to know how your dog behaves on a lease and anything I should look out for (chases squirrels, afraid of cars on the road when crossing crosswalks, etc.)
A typical day
I'm an active person (I enjoy doing and coaching Crossfit), so I enjoy taking dogs on long walks around Jamaica Pond or a hike around the hills!

Availability
I'm currently a full time social worker and have a hybrid schedule. I work from home Monday, Wednesday, and Friday, and in office 9-5 Tuesday and Thursday. I have open availability on the weekends.
