Thanks for visiting my profile! After a years hiatus, I'm back and now offering dog services! Our Dalmation Penny loves nothing more than to have friends over to play. She is very well socialized and used to having lots of different dogs from the neighborhood over for play time. I have had all kinds of pets the entirety of my 50+ years with pet sitting experience since childhood. I absolutely do not board multiple pets from different households at the same time! I only board one pet at a time for everyones safety and enjoyment- your pet is my #1 focus. I am a stay at home mom whose kids have grown up so now my pets are my kids :) I am basically home all day except for short periods like church or running errands, Dr. appts, etc. We have one teenage son living at home who is fabulous with animals and works for Reeds Organic Farm. I also have experience as an Animal Care volunteer at Reeds. I give at least twice daily updates with photos and can be reached anytime by cellphone. I am also available for cat care drop-in visits in your home within a 2 mile radius of Northfield.

Cristen and her family took good care of Apollo. He came home exhausted after having his play time with Penny (their dog). I felt really comfortable leaving Apollo with them after having our meet-up before boarding. Would definitely recommend her to my friends and already have plans to use her services in future. Cristen was great with Otter my Great Dane. He had a wonderful time and came home exhausted from playing with their Dalmatian Penny.
Kramer had the best time with Cristen and her family. Cristen’s pup, Penny, kept Kramer company and they played so nicely together. I was sent pictures each morning and evening. I had never left Kramer overnight with anyone and felt at ease with Cristen.

My backyard is completely fenced- 5' on three sides and 4' on one side. We own our home. Most of the large yard is grass and we have a small brick patio. Areas where pups are not allowed are securely gated or fenced. We also have 2 areas that can be closed off for smaller breeds that prefer their own little area. Dogs under 10 lbs generally not a good fit. We live in very safe, friendly Northfield neighborhood where most homeowners are dog owners. Our family are all animal lovers and enjoy giving our love and attention to all fur-babies. We are conveniently close to the beaches: 10 Minutes to Ocean City, 5 Minutes to Margate/Longport, 45 Minutes to Cape May to the South and LBI to the North. All of our pets are up-to-date on shots and we ask the same of all borders for everyones safety. Please provide your dog crate for pets that require crating for any reason. Our dog is crated when we are not at home (ie running errands).

A typical day
Days are filled with fresh air (weather permitting), sunbathing, running and playing from the safety of our fenced-in yard. Daily personal playtime, brushing and loads of cuddles are happily provided. Plenty of toys are about and our dog has absolutely no food or toy aggression. All activities will be closely supervised and I do not have more than one pet guest from a different household over.

Our day begins around 7am with breakfast and potty time in our large, fenced-in yard. After that the days are filled with running around, playing ball, tug of war, walks and whatever your pets favorite pastimes are! We have large shady and sunny spots for naps in the fresh air. We live in a wonderful, quiet neighborhood with sidewalks for walks. Inside, we chill in the family room on the couches. Feeding times are completely according to your pets schedule. We usually go to sleep around 10pm. Not working outside of the home gives me all the flexibility needed to adjust to your pets needs and spoil them with all of my attention.
