Pet care experience
I got my first dog when I was very young, and as a stipulation of getting the dog, my parents required that I take full responsibility for him. I have always fed, walked him twice a day at least, bathed, and done or paid for anything that he required. I currently take care of a dog in Bellingham as well, checking in when the owner isn't available to feed and let her out, and walking her during the day while the owner is at work. I have a flexible schedule, only have class for a few hours Monday-Thursday, and the rest of the time am completely available. I am hardworking, honest, positive, and I believe, if given the chance to prove it, I would be a great fit!

Crista did a fantastic job House, dog , and cat sitting during the Thanksgiving holiday week. Our animals were well cared for and the house was immaculate. We came home to a thank you note and homemade cookies. I would highly recommend Crista!
Crista was very professional, attentive, responsible and kept me updated throughout her time with my dog. She let me know when she began and ended the walk, and my dog seemed as though she enjoyed herself. I would definitely book Crista again in the future!
Crista has always loved animals, even as a young girl, she made flyers in school to take care of people's pets. Much to my surprise we would end up with all kinds of animals at the house she would be taking care of, but Crista was always loving and responsible with every animal in her care. When Crista moved to Washington, she made me so proud when she took a volunteer job at a Bird Sanctuary, where she fed, and helped administer medication to wild birds in need of rehabilitation. Crista was always amazing with our family dog, and she is wonderful with her own dog now. Crista is a lovely young lady with a caring heart that you can trust, will treat your most precious companion as her very own.

I have no breed preferences, however I do hope that in terms of dog walking, the dog is not violent against other dogs, or strangers (including me). I would like to know if they have any issues with the size of other dogs that they may encounter (if it makes them scared or bark), or if they are afraid of any thing in general, like children. I can definitely still take care of the dog, especially for home visits, I just like to know use that information to access where to take them, and what to be on alert for. Otherwise, any dog is welcome!
A typical day
I love to go on walks all around Bellingham from Lake Padden, to simply the Arboretum. I know sometimes dog owners prefer their dogs only go to certain trails or areas they are familiar with, and I am very flexible and always open to that. If a dog is a swimmer, I like to take them to places where they can swim and play fetch, whether it be a lake or to the beach depending on owner preferences. I love to walk, run, and hike, so no matter where we go, your dog will get the exercise and fun time that they need!
