I'm giving two star instead of one just because yes, he DID watch Sebastian for the day. However they (Craig and his wife) complained that Sebastian jumped their dog, which bothers me for two reasons. One being that if I'm paying you to 'watch me dog' then you should be watching him and disciplining bad behaviour. If you're not doing that then why am I paying you? Second, Sebastian is not neutered and Craig went ...

Craig is very well when it comes to dogs. He is very attentive to their need and loves to play with them. He is very sweet and caring. He does a great job when it comes to helping out with a furry friend!

He has a dog of his own which he loves. He has experience with taking care of dogs, as well as patience. He treats them with the love they deserve.

Your dog's home away from home!

I am 24 years old and married to my beautiful wife Guadalupe. We have a 9 month old dog named China who is a black lab/dachsund mix that would love to keep your dog(s) company while you are away! We live in an apartment but will take your dog to dog parks and for walks often. We have plenty of toys and treats to keep your puppy happy and content, and will keep ...

What Craig would like to know about your dog

No breed preferences, all dogs are welcome in our home! We would like to know if your dog is not vaccinated or has any illnesses or special needs we would need to accommodate. If a dog is staying overnight, we would like to know their sleeping preference and if they are crate trained or not. Also, any feeding and bathroom routines would be helpful to know your dog regular!

When Craig watches your pet

Walks, visits to the dog park (unless told otherwise), and lots of play time with us and China!

-In regards to the review left by Eva C., we were contacted by her looking for a long term dog sitter. We were absolutely ecstatic and happy to watch her dog, and him not being neutered was not a problem. We have experience with dogs, intact and otherwise, but found him and our puppy did not get along very well. He did try to mount her several times, and we would separate them until they both calmed down. Again, this was no problem and the nature of the job when one or both dogs are intact. The issue we seemed to have run into however was that Sebastian and China (our dog) were not that compatible when it came to playing and co-existing. This is not a big deal or a problem, it just simply wasn't in the cards for our dogs to be together long term because of their personality differences. Sebastian was a great dog and very playful and happy, his energy level was not AT ALL an issue. I do not know why she thinks we had a problem with her dog's energy as it was never once brought up. When Eva C. picked up Sebastian, we informed her that Sebastian was very happy and taken care of (despite his initial anxiety about missing his family) and had a great time; however we would not be able to sit him long term because of the incompatibility with our dog China. She asked if we would be able to watch him after he was neutered, but we were unable to because of the issues stated above and also because of an increased workload at my day job and my decreasing amount of free time I had in which to dogsit. Before she ever dropped Sebastian off, I repeatedly reminded her that this was essentially a meet & greet and a trial run to see if Sebastian would be compatible with China. They were not compatible, and the days she needed us to watch Sebastian started to conflict with prior obligations we had and my day job so I informed her that we would be unable to watch Sebastian in the long term. Things were very cordial and understanding at the door, so I don't understand why she left such a nasty review and brought up issues that never entered our conversation. If you have any concerns about this incident when it comes to booking me in the future, please don't hesitate to ask me about it and I will address any and all concerns related to the review left by Eva C. Thank you!
