Pet care experience
I am happily married with two grown children and a retired Law Enforcement Officer who with the support of his family (who also help care for pets) can now focus on full time pet care. Separate and apart from my previous career, I have been involved in fostering pets for many years to include friends, family and sick/injured or abandoned pets from the Veterinarian world where we were the last hope. My daughter who works for a major company in the Veterinarian world would often ask for help with pets that others left or could not care for. With that we gained experience with a multitude of pets (mostly dog) of all shapes, breeds, size, age and health conditions. We always accepted the challenge and learned from them all. I believe in genuine care for animals and allowing dogs to be dogs which in most cases means part of the family.
Reviews

My dog loves staying at Craig’s…she receives great attention and care!

Craig is always amazing , him and his wife treat my Seager just like family. Highly recommend Craig .

Second time booking with Craig and will do so again. Dogs love it and they are well taken care of!

Awesome care and attention provided, as usual!

Safety, trust & environment
I have two acres out in a rural area of the county, a fenced in back yard and large specially built kennels in a climate controlled tiny home dedicated to the pets we get to care for. We have separated large play areas and with the individual wants/need of the pet in mind believe in letting dogs play and enjoy the outside as much as heat, cold, and weather will allow.

Information Craig P. would like to know about your pet
Let me know about any special needs. I am comfortable with most of the unique needs a pet may have like medications and medical care but we of should talk ahead of time to be sure I can give you pet the care they need.
A typical day
Keeping in mind the pet and any needs or directions from the owner and the weather ( really hot/cold/wet etc) A typical day starts around 6:30am when we go outside for a bit followed by breakfast. After breakfast, a little down time to allow the food to settle. Then the rest of the day involves multiple breaks and playtime outside either walking on a leash, or off leash in large fenced in area. Depending on the pet there will be lots of playtime, assorted dog toys and interaction throughout up until days end around 10:00pm. Of course they get to eat and drink as close to their regular routine as we can get.

Availability
I am retired and I available 7 days a week. Don't think retired means old or inactive. Being just past 50 means I still have lots energy and drive combined with both the life and pet care experience needed to be provide quality care.
