Howdy! I'm a lifelong animal lover and pet enthusiast! When I first moved to Seattle from Colorado in 2018, I was immediately enamored with how dog-friendly this city is - so much so that I snagged a part time gig at a downtown dog daycare, and even did a short stint at a vets office in West Seattle! Before moving to Seattle, I volunteered as a foster for 4 years in Colorado. I have a well-rounded knowledge base on pet care - rest assured your precious pup is in good hands with me! My approach to dog walking is unique, as I prioritize patience above all else. Did you know that experts suggest that 20 minutes of sniffing can be as enriching for dogs as a full hour's walk? That's why I've adopted the role of a "sniff spot chauffeur" in West Seattle. For pet parents and owners of reactive doggos who may have limited availability or mobility, my "sniff spot chauffeur" service is designed to cater to their furry companions' needs. I understand that not every dog is up for a lengthy walk, and I'm here to ensure they get the enrichment they deserve, one sniff spot at a time. In addition to being a dedicated dog enthusiast, I'm currently on my way to becoming a certified dog trainer with a special focus on obedience and service animal training. This journey reflects my commitment to enhancing the lives of dogs and their owners through understanding and communication. Please note that I exclusively accept walk/sniff spot cheauffer requests within the West Seattle area, where I can provide the utmost care and attention to your beloved pets. However, if you're located in downtown Seattle and require house/pet sitting services, I'm more than happy to discuss your needs and accommodate your requests. As for cat care - I have been a lifelong feline lover and have plenty experience owning and fostering cats as well. No fur baby bias exists here! NOTE: The "50% of clients received photo updates" on my profile is only reflective of what is shared through the Rover App - I ALWAYS share photo and video updates, tho often I send them directly to your number as opposed to through the app.

Courtney housesat while we were out of the country getting married. Our previous sitter was injured and had to understandably cancel, we were nervous about using someone new for an extended trip. We received plenty of updates via text, including photos of our (happy) pets. They enjoyed Courtney and we loved the updates! The house had been tidied and we were generally satisfied. While we are glad the pets were cared for, we were disappointed with the unexpected overnight guests and lack of accountability when a large bag of trash from their stay was bizarrely discovered by a neighbor blocks over.
Courtney was great with our senior pets, she sent daily pictures and updates while we were on vacation. She even came back the next to feed the pups when pur flight was canceled and were stranded for the night. My pups enjoyed having her watch them.

When out for walks, I am hyper-vigilant with your dog. I will always have your dog on leash, even if you are comfortable with them being off-leash. Better safe than sorry! I'm well versed in gauging temperament and reacting accordingly, and have no problems separating or socializing your pet, depending on their needs!

A typical day
For super high energy pups, my preferred route is to walk from Admiral Junction to Alki Beach and back again, if time permits. At the very least, we'll get at least one healthy walk from Admiral to Alaska Junction and back again, with lots of opportunities for big sniffs and potty breaks. On nice days, you're likely to receive pics of your dog soaking up the sun on the beach, at Lincoln Park, or other fun spots around town! Tired and/or senior pups can expect some tender, loving care. I never say no to a cuddle, and all dogs are lap dogs to me!

I run my own business from my home and have plenty of flexibility with my schedule. I will typically follow YOUR dog's routine, if they have one. My walk and sniff spot chauffer availability is dependent on demand.
