Hello I'm Courtney! I grew up with two black lab mixes and a cat. Growing up with pets helped me learn how to take care of animals. I have had my own cat for 4 years (and a new kitty for a year) and I have fostered kittens before (8 in total). I plan to continue fostering cats and kittens. I have watched cats and dogs for my friends and family before. For dog-sitting and dog-walking, I would prefer if the larger dogs are trained to not pull on the leash too much or jump up on me. I'm not strong enough or willing to spend a 30-minute walk pulling on the leash. My black labs were larger and a family member has a white husky that I've walked before. Some pulling I can handle, but I'd prefer they be trained. I will not check in on or walk any dogs or cats that are aggressive. Kittens and puppies are fine because they're not aggressive, just playful. I am also open to checking in on animals that are not dogs or cats, if this is the case we can work something out. Also please let me know if your dog plays well with others (can I take them to a dog park?). I am a full-time engineer, but flexible on evenings. Weekends are almost always open.
