Pet care experience
The bond between humans and dogs is truly special. I believe that humans should love and care for their furry friends in the same way they provide love, companionship, and protection for us! Growing up, I had a loving, quirky, miniature schnauzer. I am now a current dog owner and know first hand how tough it can be to leave your dog or cat with someone new. When your pet is under my care, I promise to treat them in the same manner I treat my own: with patience, love, and fun! What sets me apart, in addition to my genuine love of animals, is my lifestyle. I am a former college athlete who continues to stay active! A walk, or even jog, with a dog would benefit both the dog and my active lifestyle! I am also a full time teacher who practices patience, compassion, and great responsibility to ensure the safety and happiness of all the children in my care.:)

Courtney is awesome! She was very quick to respond and easy to work with. It was great feeling that our dog was so well taken care of while we were away, I would highly recommend her!
While things didn’t work out exactly as planned, Courtney was lovely and flexible and able to roll with the punches. I’d definitely recommend Courtney to others and work with her again!
Courtney did an amazing job with our cat! We usually just get photos of the cat hiding under the bed, but Courtney managed to befriend our shy kitty, and even got her to eat a treat out of her hand! I highly recommend Courtney! She is great!
Courtney house sat for us and watched our puppy. She was very communicative and great with the pup. Would certainly recommend!

When at a client’s home, I will ask for specific instructions on how to best care for their pet. For example, is there a place that they’d prefer I walk their dog or that a specific instruction to avoid other dogs, I will do my best to accommodate the dogs’ needs.

A typical day
A typical day depends a lot on your dogs’ energy level, likes and dislikes. My own dog is very high energy so we are constantly going for runs, hikes, and playing fetch. Once we are tired out, we love to cuddle up on the couch together. If you have an active dog, I would love to do similar activities with him/ her. If your dog is more of a homebody, I would gladly accommodate to their interests :)

I am a teacher so currently have limited availability during the week. I hope to be more active during breaks and summer vacation! I have a friendly dog who would love to play with yours!
