Pet care experience
I've had animals my entire life, and I started helping take care of my dogs back home when I was younger than 10, so I have an amplitude of experience with animals, to include dogs, cats, hamsters, ferrets, birds, and bunnies. I currently own a Chiweenie named Luke, and three beautiful cats! I have an amazing toddler who lights up my world and is thrilled to interact with our lovable fur pets. He does an amazing job of helping me feed them (even though that “help” really just constitutes opening and closing the pantry door haha)! I served in the military as a medic, and I’m experienced in multi-tasking, critically thinking, and handling an emergency situation. Not only will your pets have an amazing time in my care, you can rest assured that they’ll always be safe. I can’t wait to meet your fur pets!

I have a fenced in yard with a lot of running space to play catch and fetch! I have space to set up crates, as well as baby gates to keep animals separated if needed (such as for feeding time). All of us, dogs and cats included, love snuggles and will make sure your fur baby is always comforted!

Information Courtney T. would like to know about your pet
I have no breed preferences, though I do not have experience with all breeds. I would like to know the energy level, temperament, and eating and sleeping schedule, if any. I have no concerns over personality, as long as your dog is good with other dogs and young children, and is not overly aggressive. (I understand that puppies can nip and bite, and I do not consider that as aggression.) My cats are familiar and comfortable with dogs, as long as your fur pup is cool with cats. If you are booking for your dog to stay within my home, they must be kid and cat friendly. My kid and the kittens are responsive to boundaries and will not stress your dog out. We always supervise the kiddo’s interactions with ALL animals in the house, at all times.
A typical day
I'm fond of taking dogs to parks, but I'm content with walking around the block as well! I love play fetch, tug-a-war, and just rough housing in general. I'm able to keep up with most dog types, but I'm also laid back enough to relax at home for the easier going dogs as well! With the colder months blowing in, walks may be less frequent for the health and safety of the pups, but weather permitting, we’ll still go on a couple of walks or a trip to the park if permitted.

Availability
I spend the day at home so your fur baby will always have company. I try to do at least one walk a day, weather permitting, otherwise we’ll spend a lot of time at home either playing or lounging around! When my son is home from school, he’ll probably play with your pet as well. An important note here is that all interactions between pets and my kiddo are monitored, always, to ensure that everyone is comfortable and safe.
