When my parents were still expecting me, they brought home a Samoyed puppy named Shasta. From the moment I arrived home from the hospital, Shasta and I were best buds and grew up together. For the remainder of his life, he was a wonderful family companion. Growing up with a dog cemented my great appreciation for the special companionship they provide us. I also grew up around multiple cats, hamsters, birds, fish, and a chinchilla:P So it's difficult for me to say I'm JUST a dog person:P Now my family has a young Golden Retriever named Kingsley. He's a big spoiled goofball, but is too lazy to take on walks:P We currently have two friendly cats, both older so they mostly do their own thing. I love dogs of all sizes, ages, activity levels, and personalities. I love reptiles, including snakes! Honestly I love all animals, big or small, furry or scaley (or feathery etc.), social or not. My schedule over the next few months is pretty flexible, I have reliable transportation, and don't mind driving longer distances. I'd love to answer any questions, and like talking to new people! (:
