Pet care experience
I love pets of all shapes and sizes and have taken care of both small (Pomeranians, for example) and large dogs (Golden Retrievers). I have a very flexible schedule and am available on short notice at virtually any time of the day. Moreover, I'm a very patient caretaker and can handle with both highly energetic and more relaxed pups. I'm happy to adjust to your and your dogs needs. I'm the "mom" of a 13 year old Cardigan Welsh Corgi (Bailey), who lives in Chicago with my parents. I graduated with my Master's from a school here in DC this past December. I signed up for Rover to earn some extra money as I look for a full-time job, but also to get some much needed dog time.

I've used a number of Rover sitters over the past few years, and Courtney is among the best. She spoils our pups! She is also great at communicating throughout the stay--I'm never left wondering how things are going back home. We've already booked her to house-sit again.
Courtney is a warm and patient dog walker. She took our puppy to his favorite dog park to play with his friends and was patient with him when he didn't want to leave She immediately became our favorite dog walker and we look forward to using her again.
Courtney was great! Not only did she help out on fairly short notice, she was great with my pup. They went on a bunch of walks and my very anxious girl relaxed enough with her to do her business and walk comfortably next to her. I was extremely impressed all around!
Courtney was a very reliable and kind sitter for our pup Garth! She listened to our instructions carefully and was very attentive as Garth was still recovering from surgery. She sent us updates throughout the day and kept him entertained and took him on a nice walk. Garth loved her instantly and we will definitely use her again in the future. Great person who is great with dogs, highly recommend!

I would like to know if your dog has any health concerns to watch out for so I can limit any behavior that might be bad for him/her - for example, my dog, Bailey has back problems, so I limit her jumping up. I want to know how best to care for your dog. I love dogs of all breeds!
A typical day
I will be happy to take your dog on local walks (either residential, or if you'd like, in areas like Glover Archbold Park). I also have access to a dog park and a yard, where I will play fetch with your dog and his/her favorite toy. If you approve, we will also walk to Starbucks and I'll get your dog a "Puppachino," a small cup of whipped cream!
