Pet care experience
I have been a Rover pet sitter for 5 years now and nothing beats the tail wags and purrs I get when I come to see those lovable little furry friends! Whether you are out of town or busy at work and need a hand, I’m happy to ease your stress and make your pet's day a little more interesting. I can take them on walks, give them a good play sesh, feed them and lightly clean them if they get messy. Whatever needs you have, I am happy to accommodate to give you both a great experience. And if anything seems odd, I will immediately try contacting you to keep you in the loop. I have lots of love to go around, so feel free to reach out and get to know more!
Reviews
Seriously cannot say enough positive things about Courtney! Went above and beyond! If you need a sitter, look no further. She's made clients out of us for life!
The absolute best person you could have watching your fur babies!! Always kept me updated and gave me so much peace of mind! 10/10 recommend !!
Courtney took very good care of my Kittens! She was prompt and made sure they had everything they needed. She played with them and gave them their much needed love. I would highly recommend her!
Courtney was wonderful with our fur baby, Luna. She gave us updates/ reports after each visit with Luna and appreciate the photos she sent following each visit. We highly recommend Courtney if you are looking for a pet sitter.

Some key steps I always take when watching pets include only opening the door as far as needed for me to enter and closing it immediately to prevent run-aways, approaching pets for the first time with caution, to provide plenty of opportunity for us both to scope out their feelings about me. I make sure they have water at all times, especially in the heat. I also keep a watchful eye to make sure they don’t eat anything they shouldn’t have and have lots of patience as they may be weary of me and not want to listen as well as they do for mom or dad! I always go outside with them if they are allowed off-leash in a fenced-in area because I understand they could still beat the humans and get out sometimes. And of course, I will give you a few sentence summary and some pictures each visit so you know exactly what went down rather than just a one-word response saying it went fine.
Information Courtney W. would like to know about your pet
Does your dog tend to jump up onto you when they get excited? Do they sometimes have accidents in the house? Do they have any allergies to certain treats or food? Do they need medication daily or have any injuries or conditions that limit their activity? None of these things are bad, and I can handle them appropriately, but a warning would be lovely so I can act accordingly!
A typical day
I love finding that favorite toy each pet has and seeing their eyes light up as I pick it up to play with them! Whether it’s a good game of fetch in a fenced in back yard or a laser pointer chase in the cool AC I will always find a way to interact that gives your cat or dog some well needed stimulation. And if they are not so energetic I also give a fan favorite - under the collar - scratch when they are wanting a little help getting to those tricky spots :)
