I have always loved animals and have been a responsible pet owner since I was ten. I am a confident dog handler with experience training my own 12 year old labradoodle from when she was a puppy. I am proud that she has before won both Best in Show and Reserve Best in Show at competition.

Just home from a 10 day holiday leaving Courtney to care for my two Beagles. My boy Bruno is a very anxious dog and I was worried about how they’d all be but honestly there was no need whatsoever! Courtney has such an amazing way about her, she sent videos, photos and stayed in regular communication which eased my mind and also made me smile so much to see how happy they were. I honestly think they were disappointed we came home :/. I couldn’t be happier with Courtney and I know the pups are already missing her. Thank you so much, you really are magical!!
Courtney was so lovely! I think our pup really loved her too. She was very communicative and friendly and very understanding about us forgetting little bits when we were running late. She was also happy to meet us the day before for a chat and to get a key since we would be out when she arrived the following day. Couldn’t recommend enough, we’re so happy we found her :)

I need to know what your dogs temperament is like, if they are likely to jump up or bark at visitors. If taking them for a walk I need to know if they are well lead trained, eg. if they pull on the lead, and how they are with recall if they need walking off the lead. Knowing if they need treats while walking is helpful as well.
A typical day
With my own dog I like taking walks, playing fetch until she gets bored, practising recall and walking both on and off lead. We usually walk around Runcorn Hill that I live close to, but I also love discovering new places to walk, in nature is my preference. My favourite game to play in the home with dogs is treasure hunt, hiding treats or toys around the room for them to find.

I am a self-employed ceramicist which gives me plenty of time to dedicate to looking after animals! I have a flexible schedule and am available at short notice for house-sitting, dog walking or visits.
