Hi Rover Community! I'm a former vet tech who has fostered many dogs, volunteers currently for a dog rescue, and has two dogs of her own (big and small). I'm not fearful of any breeds, nor am I against caring for other animal species (other than snakes). I am a mid 30’s professional that relocated in 2017 to Cville from Hampton Roads. I’m dependable, trustworthy, and looking to meet the animals of Charlottesville :). Due to a lack of living quarter space I am unable to offer my home for daycare or boarding. I am a former government worker who was required to meet strict criteria for hire (background check, polygraph, clean driving record). Courtney watches our pup Thaddeaus. She is always so accommodating with our schedule and pup's needs. Courtney goes above and beyond to make sure that Thadd has a great walking experience. She sends plenty of pictures which is super awesome to get while I am at work. She truly cares about our pup and I would recommend her to any of my friends who need someone for their dog!
My dog Maxx is always a little scared of new people, but Courtney never once let that stop her from trying to befriend him. It didn't take long before they were the best of friends. She has always been very good with him and he absolutely loves her. She is very friendly and attentive to his issues. She has always puts his safety and well being first, and does whatever is necessary to help out when it is needed.
Courtney is one of the sweetest people I've ever met. In addition to her kindness she is incredibly trustworthy and responsible. Caring for animals is not a job for her, it's a passion. My dogs are always in the very best hands with her and I would highly recommend her.
Courtney is very responsible and will treat your dog as if it were her own. She was responsive every time I reached out to her as she has saved me when I have been in a pinch. She is so sweet and knowledgable about how to handle any kind of dog. She comes highly recommended from my family.
