My name is Courtney and I am a Stanford PhD student studying polar biological oceanography. I grew up in Sunnyvale and started walking dogs 12 years ago for my neighbors. When I was in high school, my family and I spent 3 years training puppies to be guide dogs, and we fell in love with our last puppy, Lenora, and ended up adopting her. While I was in college in Maine, I started working as a dog sitter and dog walker, caring for the animals of my professors and their friends. I've also looked after chickens, cats, pigs, guinea pigs, hamsters, fish, cows, and sheep. After living in London for the last two years (and having only limited pet time), I'm excited to be moving back to the Bay Area starting on August 8th. I miss being around my family's dog, so I'm excited to be caring for and spending time with your pets!
