Hi! Thanks for visiting my profile! I can not wait to meet you and your furbabies! I have been caring for animals since I was a little girl, which sparked my interest in Veterinary medicine. I am a Licensed Veterinary Medical Technician and currently work at an animal hospital through the week. I have worked with all pets of all ages and size along with fostered senior pets to newborn puppy/kittens. I am able to dose medications, provide minor nursing care if requested, administer fluids for chronic kidney patients, give baths, trim nails, express anal glands, and clean ears depending on temperament. Rest assured that I can observe and distinguish problems with my keen technician eye. I’m very familiar with timid pets, having one of my own. I definitely understand it takes some time to gain trust from any furkid, but you’ll quickly notice I am patient with everyone, especially those who need it most. There’s no doubt that I will send updates/pictures as frequently as desired and I understand the apprehension that comes with leaving your pet in someone else’s hands. However, I will love them like they’re mine. Please feel free to message me and ask any questions you may have! If you choose me as your caretaker, please have a relationship with a veterinarian or a certain hospital you would like me to use in case of emergencies.

Courtney was outstanding because she was professional, knowledgeable, dependable, thorough, relatable and she went the extra mile. She was very professional every step of the way, including excellent communication. She is very knowledgeable about animals. I have an anxious rescue dog who was displaying anxiety when he met her. I was worried she might think he was demonstrating a poor disposition, but she recognized it as displacement behavior and was reassuring and informative! She was very dependable, and in fact stayed longer with my animals than I'd expected for drop-ins. She sent lots of pictures and videos, and we could see how the animals grew more comfortable with her, and were acting playful and relaxed. She even went above and beyond by taking out the trash, and trimming one dog's nails (he gets so scared, we usually only trim the tips so this was extremely helpful.) Courtney is OUTSTANDING!
Courtney cared for our two pups and our home for a long three week vacation. She gave us (at least) twice daily pics/videos and updates on how they were doing, which definitely eased our anxiety about not being there with them. She played ball with them and even did some training with the younger pup. Courtney also honored our wishes with regard to how we care for and feed our fur babies. I would most certainly use her again and recommend her to my friends (although, selfishly, maybe not so she won't be booked up when I need her again).
Courtney was very communicative and easy to work with! Knowing she had experience with heelers/high energy dogs was a plus for us as well. She did a meet and greet with us, so we could make sure our pets were comfortable with her and she was great! She provides frequent updates and pictures, which put us at ease with this being our first time having someone who isn’t family watch our pets. We will definitely be using her again the next time we go out of town!
Courtney stayed with 3 of our fur babies for a week while we were on vacation and she was amazing! She sent pictures and videos daily so we knew they were happy. She gave them their daily medication and since she works at a vet, she was even able to give them a shot while we were gone. I was so totally happy with her we will for sure be calling her again.

Please have a regimen in mind that you would like me to follow, including: potty breaks, meal times and amounts, and typical bedtime. Do you allow free roam/pets on furniture? Do you have a fenced in yard for supervised play or prefer leash and collar walks? Please specify a primary veterinarian I could reach out to incase of emergencies. If your pet does not have a primary care vet and should an emergency arise, I would use my current workplace after contacting you, of course!
A typical day
Mostly, we will relax and play within your home environment to reduce as much stress as possible while you’re away! To refrain from accidental injury or illness during the stay, dog parks and heavily crowded pet areas will be avoided. We can go on leashed walks within the neighborhood when requested, if weather allows.

I am off every weekend as well as Thursdays and can provide 100% of my attention to your furkids before and after work through the week. At most, I work 8 hours through the days of Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday, and Friday. I get sent home early occasionally. Ask away! I’m pretty flexible and will try my best to accommodate everyone.
