I'm an animal lover at heart. I have always had a pet in my life. I have owned both dogs and cats. Seeing the joy on a dog's face while on a walk makes me smile. It warms my heart and makes my day complete. As a dog walker/sitter I want to feel the same joy and happiness as the dog I take care of. I have cared for my own dog for 10 years and currently care for a very needy cat. I walk both small and large dog breeds. I have experience with dogs that have a lot of anxiety. I take pride in how these dogs respond to my energy, and I can help them stay comfortable. It's a very satisfying feeling to know that the dog feels safe with me. I will treat your dog/s as if they were my own.

Courtney is a perfect person to be a dog sitter at Rover. I have known her about 10 years and her love of dogs was apparent at first meeting! I call her the dog whisperer because she is so great with my dogs. When they get excited- Courtney can always calm them down just by talking to them and petting them. She has a very warm personality and dogs just naturally love her. Courtney is also very knowledgeable about dog health. Among our friends and family she is the one we go to for information about issues in dog care. She also understands their temperaments and tries to understand what may be stressing them out if they appear anxious. Courtney has been a lifelong friend of animals, especially of cats and dogs. What has always supersized me is that dogs particularly are able to sense her affection and are drawn to her. In our family, Courtney has had family pets and since she has been on her own, she has always had cats and dogs. I is who she is.
