Pet care experience
Hi! I'm Courtney (she/her), a Ph.D. student at Harvard Medical School. I've grown up around dogs and cats my entire life, and I have volunteered at an animal shelter for the past 4 years, primarily as a dog walker. Through both of these experiences, I have grown accustomed to a variety of pet personalities and learned to care for them. In my time as a volunteer, I received formal training in dog walking, pet care, pet safety, and elementary behavioral training. I am also certified in pet (feline and canine) first aid and CPR, and I have experience administering medications to pets and caring for them post-surgery. I am a runner, so if you have a super energetic dog who likes to jog, I can make that happen! Also happy to take care of chill dogs and cats! I love spending time with animals and can't wait to help you care for your fur baby!

I have known Courtney for almost 3 years, and she has been the absolute best dogsitter I have had. Other than being a complete natural with my dogs, she has never failed to communicate with me in an effective and professional manner. She is entirely reliable and has saved me from so many last-minute emergencies! Although I'm sad she's moving away, I am confident that she will make so many more dogs (and parents) happy with her never-ending compassion and care for our pets.
Courtney cared for my dog Lucy, while I was out of town for the weekend. Lucy struggles with anxiety and joint-pain and requires special care and medications. Courtney was able to see to all of Lucy’s needs with no problem. I am very particular about who watches her and I would absolutely recommend  Courtney’s animal care to anyone!
I chose Courtney to care for my dog Belle, because she is a well-experienced pet owner and caregiver. She walked Belle, who can often be stubborn and difficult to walk, with patience and love. I would 100% hire her again!
