Pet care experience
Over the years, I have helped my parents with three dogs at home and too many cats to count! At 11, I began working at a horse farm where I, in addition to the horses, cared for six dogs whether that was feeding them or playing with them. I did that until I was 18 and started working as a kennel assisstant at Jones Bridge Animal Hospital and Gold Collar Resort. I worked as a vet tech for a summer as well at Jones Bridge. Then, I moved to Athens, GA and became an Animal Caretaker at Pawtropolis, a doggie daycare and boarding facility. I also raised and trained a Guide Dog for the Blind puppy who became a breeder. After college, i began working at Zoo Atlanta. I started out as an elephant intern, but quickly got hired as a seasonal primate keeper. After 5 years with the gorillas at Zoo Atlanta, I was ready for a change of scenery and Colorado felt like the perfect place. I now work as a primate keeper at the Denver Zoo. Currently, I own two dogs, two cats and one horse! All of them make up my lovely little family. Animals are my life's passion and I dedicate my life’s work to helping providing a better world for them. I'm always excited to meet new animals and make new friends.

Courtney is great! We have used her many many times to watch our cat over the holidays. Our cat loves her and Courtney always responds quickly. She is very easy to work with and always sends us the cutest updates on how our cat is doing! Definitely do not hesitate to book her to watch your cats or dogs, she is the best!
Courtney always does an amazing job with you our two cats! Thank you!

Safety, trust & environment
The first thing I do when I am visiting to check on a client’s fur kid is find them, greet them, and check to make sure everything is normal with them. I always communicate anything unusual with my clients.
Information Courtney M. would like to know about your pet
Tell me everything about your furry loved one! I want to know what their favorite activity is, their favorite snack, and anything that makes them happy and comfortable. It’s all about gaining trust! Is the dog shy? Timid? Or High-energy? Very interactive?
A typical day
I love taking dogs on walks, playing in their yard (or inside if it’s too hot or cold) and going to dog parks as long at the dog is comfortable. I want to do whatever your pet wants to do!
