As I only want the best for the pets I would be happy to hear anything of importance or concern to the owner. If they get stressed by the mail man or other dogs I can navigate it. If they need a certain way of handling for safety or preference I will do what is requested of me. I just want the dogs to be as comfortable and happy as possible and I know thats what the owner wants too so I trust them to decide on what information may be of use to me-after all no one knows their pup like they do!

As a full time student and a life-long animal lover being a pet care provider brings me a lot of joy. When I first meet a dog I am careful to display my nature and intentions, I have had customers before that had rescue dogs from formerly abusive homes so I have to read and recognize dog body language well. Once the dog is comfortable with me I attend to his needs, be it a walk(exercise and bathroom break), feeding, medication, or attention and affection. Once the dogs needs are satisfied I am able to spend the rest of my time with them doing what they seem to enjoy. While walks are often under time-constraint I can usually tell based on energy and enthusiasm wether the dog needs to get more exercise or is looking to be getting tired so I can create the appropriate walk length, time, and endurance. If the owner provides certain toys or allows treats I can practice obedience and appropriate play. But my favorite part and what often seems to be theirs: Giving the best petting, scratching, rubbing I can give!
