My husband and I are pet lovers! We love animals large and small! We have one 15lb Shih Tzu named Tofu who is about 7 years old, extremely lazy and easy-going. She is quite the high-maintenance diva and requires boots to go outside in the cold, hates the rain and takes eye medication daily. We are no strangers to extensive daily routines! Penny is our younger, more playful dog. She loves to sprint around the yard and go on hikes and runs. Penny is the definition of "man's best friend" as she is fully attached to my husband at the hip and is always ready for an adventure no matter what it is. Three cats: Kitty, Pickle and Olive. Kitty is 4 years old and is very friendly and affectionate with both people and animals (he thinks he is one of the dogs!). Pickle is 3 years old and keeps to herself, mostly sleeping up high. Olive is the life of the household at a year old and is very playful and friendly with humans and other animals. Although my husband works Mon.-Fri., I am at home full-time and will happily adhere to your pet's regular feeding, medication, walking and bathing schedule. Short-term and long-term visits are welcome with photo and video text or email updates as often as you would like. Flexible pickup and drop-off times as well as flexibility with changes in your plans. We live in a two story detached home with a fully fenced yard and lots of space to play inside, lots of soft beds, couches and cozy places to lay. During the warmer months our enclosed porch/sunroom will be open during the day for sunbathing. Dogs will be supervised at all times while in the backyard- no exceptions! Raised cat microchip-specific feeding station to prevent dog access and a separate dog feeding area. Water bowls are available on each floor with fresh water provided daily. We have a great park at the end of the street for daily walks and exercise and live only 8 minutes from Rockerfeller State Park where we will happily walk your dog on their miles of trails. We live just 5 minutes from both Family Veterinary Care of Ossining and Hudson Valley Animal Hospital Pet Resort and Spa and just 10 minutes from the 24 hour Animal Health Center in Briarcliff Manor. Harness seat belts and dog car seat/basket (pictured) always used during car travel for safety. *Please do not contact me for sitting or overnight stays if you do not have time for a meet and greet. The ensure the safety of your dog and my dogs, they must be introduced and comfortable with one another before a stay can be booked. *Please ensure that your dog is treated with a reputable flea medicine before the booking begins. My dogs are treated monthly with Vectra flea and tick medicine to ensure that our home and 3 cats are not harboring fleas. Tickborne diseases are prevalent in the Hudson Valley!
