While away, your dog can be at play!

Pet care experience

Hello Pet Parents! San Luis Obispo couple readily available to assist you with your dogs needs while sharing love, respect and compassion for all of the other animal friends out there. Courtney and Josh both grew up with animals surrounding them most of their lives. The beginning of their animal filled life was with dogs! Their love for all animals has continued as adults. They’ve always had at least the minimum of one companion animal enjoying the warmth they bring along with their quirky personalities. A bonus is being just a few blocks away from Meadow Park! Having a lawn in the front and backyard is great for the quick convenience of your dogs personal needs, fresh air and of course some time for play. The backyard is fenced offering privacy with sunshine and shade to patio and grass. The front yard is open and larger with big pine trees, more space to play and offers more shade. Josh works during the day, but will be Courtney's right hand man. His work location is just a short drive away, frequently stopping in through out the day and ready to help with whatever she needs. The two of them are currently kiddo and doggie companion free, so taking care of your animals will give them an outlet for that love to beam. Your furry loved one will be in a safe, loving, cozy and stress free environment!

We had to leave our dog for a day care while visiting Hearst Castle. Courtney - did a wonderful job cuddling with our 9 lbs poodle. Very nice and friendly. Thank you.

I couldn't have asked for a better first experience with a dog sitter. Courtney took excellent care of my 17-year-old blind little dog, including walks and administering medications. Regular updates and photos assured me that all was well at home.

Courtney & Joshua did an awesome job watching our pup! We got pics throughout the day, communication was a breeze, and they were very flexible for drop off and pick up times. I will definitely ask this fun couple to watch our pooch again in the future.

Information Courtney & Joshua W. would like to know about your pet

• Double checking to make sure the dog is safe to be with and doesn’t bite because it’s around new people is important. This will be asked. •Making sure they aren’t a barker due to separation anxiety is also important to neighbors being so close by. A dog that can be worked with well is wonderful. Warm, sweet, listens to simple commands and doesn’t jump are great furry friends to have around. •Crate trained is checked off in the details and is necessary for boarding. It helps prevent potty accidents at night, roaming around at bedtime and also helps them feel comfy in their own little home while they sleep. •Whatever food your dog eats will be asked to be included with their drop off. Every pup is different and food they’re not used to eating can get them ill. •Notes are a perfect way to make sure everything is on track for day care, doggy sleep overs and walking. Details for food schedule, treat time, they’re usual behavior and NOT they’re usual behavior is so helpful. Communication is key!

A typical day

Meadow Park is quite a large one and a great walk and play area. The neighborhoods it overflows into are nice for the cool down loop back to Courtney and Joshua’s home. It’s great because the walk can be turned into a longer or shorter distance. There are trails to walk out on at Johnson Ranch Trail also. That can be a small light trail walk to a longer more challenging trail walk. Great to get those legs moving, but nice to head back to the car if your pup is tired or if it’s a bit too warm.
