Pet care experience
Hi, my name is Courtney! I am a 21-year-old Animal Science student at The Ohio State University. I study full-time, but have plenty of gaps between classes during the week to come take your pet for a walk and provide any care needed. I also have full availability from May-August as I'm out of classes for the summer. I'm available on weekends to watch your pet while you're away. I love animals of all kind, but am especially partial to dogs! I've grown up always having dogs in the family and now have my own Golden Retriever. I have been pet-sitting and dog-walking for families since age 11. Since age 17, I have been working jobs in animals-related fields-specifically with dogs! I have four years of experience working in pet boarding/daycare services (Pet Palace and Camp Bow Wow) and recently completed a 3-month internship working as a veterinary assistant (VCA Animal Hospital) in a fast-paced veterinary clinic. I am a very friendly, reliable, and responsible person with a strong work ethic and passion for our furry friends! I would love to take care of your pet while you are away from your home.

Courtney is an avid dog lover that is very experienced and dependable. She has worked at 2 kennels, a veterinary office AND is going to school for Animal Science, so she is exceptionally knowledgeable. She has watched my Golden Retriever on many occasions and he absolutely adores her! You can feel at peace knowing that your dog is getting the love, attention and belly rubs they deserve when they're with Courtney.
Courtney came to our home to stay with Monte. When I came down to leave she was already outside giving him belly rubs. She also brought her dog over to play, which made it even more fun for Monte! Courtney is very responsible, kept the house clean, even brought in the mail and dry cleaning for us... and sent the cutest pictures of our fur baby while we were gone. Thanks Courtney!!
Courtney has been a dog lover all her life. She is an Animal Science major at OSU. She has worked at 2 pet boarding facilities and done an internship as a vet tech at a veterinary clinic. We call her the dog whisperer. A very responsible pet sitter who will put your pet's needs above all else.

A typical day
While I cannot currently offer boarding or daycare in my own home, I am more than happy to take your dog to fun, local areas! My golden retriever and I make frequent trips to dog parks, public parks, hiking trails, and neighborhood walks. I would be more than happy to take your dog to these sorts of places as well, or, if you're more comfortable, we can take walks around your community and play in your yard!
