Pet care experience

ONLY ACCEPTING SMALL DOGS and dogs with pet insurance (freak accidents can happen — I want to make sure your dog is protected and can receive proper medical care, should he or she need it) ———————————— Just a girl who will love and enjoy the company of your pet just as much as you do. I started Rovering in October 2019, and I am so glad that I did. I was new to Cleveland, new to working remotely, and new to not having a dog of my own. Not only did it help me get out of the house (I WFH full time), but it has also given me so many new fur babies to love like my own.

Courtney sent pictures and videos of their walks and play time. Kara looked happy in every pic. Her dog Finn is a gracious host.

I left the tip just for the great photos, specifically the one of Jojo licking her chops 😂 Best dog sitter ever.

Information Courtney H. would like to know about your pet

What commands should we be practicing? What rules should we follow? How does he or she react to it’s food bowl? Are there any triggers that I should recognize when taking care of your pup? Can he or share have antlers, hooves, or water buffalo horns, or would you prefer we pick them up in advance of their stay?

A typical day

We have two parks within a quarter mile of our place that we’ll visit usually once a day, and I work remotely… and Finn loves his sharing his one too many toys haha your pup will definitely be spoiled here :)

In 2020, like many, I recently became a very proud dog momma to my goldendoodle, Finn. Because I now have my own fur baby to look after (and still work full time), I only offer boarding services. ———————————— BOARDING SERVICES ———————————— Our goldendoodle, Finn (@TheGoldendood.Finn), is super easy going and loves making new fur-iends. For your peace of mind, we will never accept more than one family’s dog(s) at a time, so if your fur baby is coming over, he/she (and Finn, of course) will be the only dog(s) staying with us. Although we don’t have a fenced-in yard, we regularly walk to two parks within a quarter mile of our place. ———————————— EXPECTATIONS + CONSIDERATIONS: ———————————— — We did get new couches, so don’t allow dogs on the furniture. If you allow your dogs on the furniture (we get it, Finn used to be allowed too), please just be transparent with us on whether or not this will be an issue or if we’ll just need to be a bit more diligent to make sure he or she stays off of it. If your dog is less than 20 lbs, this is less of an issue. — Also, we prefer dogs be crate trained. Although we’re home most of the day, there may be a time where we want to run an errand or grab a bite to eat and we would feel much more comfortable if they’re okay in a crate while we’re gone. We have a large one we use for Finn that we can use for your pup or you’re welcome to bring one too. — If your fur baby happens to scratch at doors or jump on them, I’m sorry, but we won’t be able to accept them. We have nice doors throughout the house that we’d like to keep in pristine condition. I hope you understand. ———————————— ABOUT @TheGoldendood.Finn ———————————— Because I know it’s comforting knowing about others dogs when considering adding yours to the pack, I thought it may be helpful to share a bit about Finn. Finn is a 3 year old goldendoodle who loves to play (and also loves to rest). He goes to daycare once a week (we love Cleveland Bed and Biscuit), so he’s well socialized. He doesn’t resource guard at all and loves sharing his toys with new friends (he loves to play keep away, fetch, and tug with friends). Also, Finn has been professionally trained via a 4-week board and train program with Miracle K9, so I promise your pup will be joining a great pack 🥰 If you’re interested in getting to know him/us better, we recently made an Instagram for him, 📸@thegoldendood.Finn. ———————————— Anyway, I recognize this is likely entirely too much detail, but, hey, I want to make sure you know your pup is in good hands. Please reach out if you’d like to schedule a meet and greet. I work remotely, so mine and Finn’s schedule is flexible. We’d love to make new friends! PS. My partner and Finn’s dad, Marcus, will also be here too, but I’ll be the one you’re communicating with most since I’m the one that works from home. Marcus helps a lot on the evenings and weekends. He’s a total dog lover too ————————————
