I work full time 3 days a week out of the house but have availability most weekends! I typically wake up mid morning, take care of tasks around the house, sometimes run errands if needed, but most of the time just relax at home on my days off.

A typical day
I have a very energetic small dog who absolutely LOVES to chase a ball around and play with any dog that comes over. I also live in a neighborhood that’s flat and perfect for walking. I live within 10 minutes walking distance of Battery park and love to walk there when it’s nice out!

Pet care experience
I graduated from vet tech school and became licensed 11 years ago, have experience in general practice, and spent the last 10 years in emergency and critical care medicine. I grew up with dogs, cats, and a variety of other animals and looked after pets of family friends for over a decade. I currently have a dog and cat who get along well with other dogs. Because of my experience in veterinary medicine, I feel comfortable medicating dogs or cats if needed. I am cool, calm, and collected in a crisis and feel confident that I would be able to determine if or when a pet is in need of urgent medical care. I am able to communicate with owners as often as wanted and look forward to meeting all your furry babies!

My cats love when Courtney drops by!
Courtney watched our girl while we got away for a holiday weekend trip with our grandkids. Whole we were away it snowed 6 inches! We were surprised to arrive home not only to an orderly home and Happy dog, but to a fully cleared driveway that Courtney has shoveled by hand! During her time with our epileptic dog, Courtney made sure that all her meds were given on time and she made mental notes about her neurological state, which she conveyed to us when we arrived home. Our weekend was much more relaxing knowing that Courtney was there to handle any medical emergency (thankfully there weren't any).
Courtney is absolutely awesome. She is so kind and patient with our fur-child who has been through a lot. Already she has been transformative in Trigger’s life. We can’t thank Courtney enough. She is an awesome communicator and puts us at ease. We highly recommend her.
The fact that Courtney is a vet was one of the reasons I reached out to see if she was able to watch Sunny for a weekend while I was out of town due to how anxious she can get. Let me tell you, she did not disappoint. During the meet and greet, she asked about emergency vet info and offered her office as an option for urgent but non-emergency situations since I don’t have a primary emergency vet. She was aware of Sunny’s needs while she was there. Courtney also kept great communication and sent lots of videos and pics during her stay. I would 10/10 recommend her and will definitely be booking services with her again when the time comes!
