Large fenced yard for lots of play

Pet care experience

I have been pet sitting for over 15 years. I've also had my own pets since I was a child. When I have dogs in my care they are treated as my own. We all go for walks or play in my large, fenced yard when the weather permits. If its winter, we play inside - tug of war, ball throwing, etc. Please note I do not watch unfixed males or females. I will make exceptions for puppies (less than a year old).

Our dog, Cassidy, had a great “vacation” with Courtney and her own dogs! She communicated often and also sent us pictures regularly so we knew how our doggy was doing. We felt very comfortable and knew that she was being well taken care of. Courtney went above and beyond taking great care and we would highly recommend her as an excellent pet sitter! Will like to work with her again!

Courtney exceeded our expectations. Our puppy went to her at pick-up showing us how he had connected to her caring for him. Courtney is one of those finds that you want to keep to yourself so that she will have availability to take our dog when she gets busy! I will tell all I give her 5 star rating from our experience. Thanks Rover- I am impressed!

Courtney was great! She was very flexible with my schedule, sent plenty of pics of Sadie while I was away, and made sure Sadie felt comfortable. Highly recommend!

When I have dogs in my care they are treated as my own. We all go for walks or play in my large, fenced yard when the weather permits. If its winter, we play inside - tug of war, ball throwing, and it's not uncommon for my girls to play "tag" with each other or their friends that come "visit".

A typical day

I am an early riser, so we are generally up at 5:30 for breakfast and potty. I log in for work at 7 am and generally work until 3 or 4. While working, all dogs have the run of the house and there are large dog beds in almost every room of my house for then to snooze on. They are also allowed on the couches. In between meetings, we will go outside to play and, if I have enough time, we might even fit in a walk around my neighborhood. Dinner is usually between 4 and 5 and then we relax for the evening. If the weather is good we will go for a walk. If it is a day that I go into the office, I am usually only gone 8 hours max. I live very close to my office so it's a quick drive and it is not usually mandatory that I go in unless it is for important meetings, etc.

Availability

I work remote, from my home, and generally only go in to my office 1 or 2 days a week. When I am home, animals are left uncrated and have the run of my house. There are several dog beds around my house, plus they are allowed on the couches. I generally keep them out of the human beds during the day, but I don't mind bending the rules sometimes 😉 We take lots of potty breaks and walks throughout the day when I am working from home. If I have to go in to the office, I'm generally only gone for about 6 - 7 hours max.
