Pet care experience
I have been a huge animal lover my entire life and am looking to incorporate that passion of mine into a full time job! I've volunteered at local shelters, rescues, and even fostered. I won Heart and Soul Volunteer of the Year in 2014 at the Humane League which is a huge honor and true testament to my dedication. I love all breeds, but have a huge soft spot for pit mixes and other misunderstood breeds. I have spend the last year working at a doggie day care where I have been thoroughly trained in dog body language, behavior, and off leash dog play. I have also been trained in basic first aide for pets and am comfortable administering any kinds of medication - including insulin. Visit me on instagram - @duceysdogs!

Courtney did a great job with our two large dogs. She was very friendly and kept in touch the whole time we were away. I would recommend her and we plan on using her again!
Courtney is our go-to pet caregiver whenever my husband and I go out of town. We trust her to care for our pets, stay in our home and keep us up to date with any information we need to know about our animals while we are away. In addition to keeping us up to date with what is going on with our pets she sends us photo updates which we truly look forward to! Our pets love her and our pup gets extremely excited when she walks in the door. We would not trust our animals with any another caregiver.
Courtney has watched my retired laboratory Beagle, Paddington, as well as cared for my families cats, Lola and Charlie, and our Turtle JB and snake Kumar. Paddington is a nervous guy, given his history. She is very patient with him and comforts him, which is so key when working with special needs pets. Courtney is always great with our cats and reptiles. The cats enjoy that she will sit and spend time with them and the reptiles are always well cared for. She is always quick to send pictures/videos which helps with my anxiety as well :) Overall, I would highly recommend Courtney. Considering Paddington is my world, and I trust her with him, that speaks a lot.

A typical day
I prefer to dog sit at the dog's home. The dog is more comfortable in their own environment, so less stress while mom or dad are away! I work full time at a doggy day care, and part time at a cafe. My hours are unconventional but I am willing to work with you to determine what is best for your pet!
