I have loved dogs since I was a toddler, and have always dreamed of having dogs involved in my career, but a professional job got in the way of veterinary school, so now I volunteer as a director of a multi-breed rescue organization. I have fostered 203 dogs over my rescue lifetime, from fearful Chihuahuas to Pit Bulls to hyper Labs to Great Danes! I have 3 precious fur babies of my own- a 14 yr old Border Collie mix, a 10 yr old feral Aussie/Chow mix, and a 5 year old Golden mix (retired puppy mill mama), and they make our family complete! I absolutely adore all dogs, and I understand the importance of treating them as the precious, valued family members they are.
