Around the age of 14, I began volunteering with the local animal welfare society, which is when I truly fell in love with providing care to animals. I acted as a "foster parent" at the time, taking in abandoned dogs (from newborns to adults) and providing temporary shelter in a positive and caring environment. Following that experience, I've always jumped at the opportunity to care for others' pets. I currently volunteer at the Centro Recupero Fauna Selvatica, so I also have experience caring for birds! I have attended various training courses offered by Fenzi Dog Sports Academy (Management for Reactive Dogs and Pattern Games) and Amy Cook (Play Way) to learn more about animal behavior and psychology. I only employ R+ and force-free methods with all of the animals I care for. I am comfortable caring for animals who display aggression, as long as their humans are willing to provide necessary equipment to keep them safe (muzzles, leashes, etc.).
