Please read before booking if you have cats and/or wonder why my rates are higher than others: So this is something I learned the hard way after my last booking lol I cared for a dog, 2 kittens & 1 cat for a week. Even when I stayed on top of the little box cleaning (& boy did they poop a lot! Lol) the ammonia & litter fumes still caused some burning of the nasal passage, irritation of the lungs & coughing for me. The kittens also got feces on the wall, the litter mat, & litter all over the place meaning I have to be REALLY consistent with the cleaning. This, in addition to Rover taking 30% & most clients not tipping — is why my rates are higher. If you'd like me to care for your kittens for an extended period — I do ask that the booking be modified so I can raise the rate since kittens not only require more cleanup but also love to play during the night which keeps me awake LOL I hope this clears up any misunderstanding, but if you still have a question or concern regarding your booking request — please do not hesitate to ask! Other than all of that — I am extremely flexible, accommodating & forgiving, I promise! :) Besides good food, good health, & good music.... being around animals bring me so much peace & joy. I cared for my families', friends & neighbors pets for many years. Unfortunately, I grew ill 1 year into going vegan, lost considerable weight & was misdiagnosed for years until I had a tumor removed in 2022 where I was told I had endometriosis & PCOS. Despite my health troubles I remained vegan for 4 long hard years because I loved animals so much. Since I was a child, I've been hired to walk, clean, feed & care for dogs of all ages, breeds & temperaments. I believe in order to get the very best from animal's (& children) you must give consistent, LOVING dicipline & praise to build self esteem. Because your energy & tone is what ultimately moves all beings. I also have experience working in a doggy daycare where I handled more than 20 dogs at a time! :) I'm able to adapt to whatever your furbaby's needs are. If they are nervous around strangers or other dogs, I can provide the best care while respecting their space. If they have a sibling who needs crated every now & then to give them a break, I can do that. If they need frequent potty breaks or love being outside or engaging in a favorite activity, I can do that while closely monitoring their behavior & safety. I also love taking dogs on walks (up to a mile if they are willing) because I know that high energy breeds absolutely need it! If they have dietary restrictions or medication needs, I take these warnings seriously.
