Pet care experience
Hello parents of fur,feather or scaly kids! I'm offering pet sitting/dog walking in the Concord/Walnut Creek Area. I am also open to caring for any other animals including goats, horses or exotic pets such as reptiles or parrots. I am a life long pet owner with excellent local references and a true love of animals. I have cared for pets from puppy/kitten hood to old age and pets both large and small. My recent travel/work exchanges in the U.K. and Ireland allowed me to care for ducks, geese,chickens,donkeys, horses, pigs, ferrets, rabbits and hedgehogs. I think I want to be a farm girl now! I believe each animal has different requirements and adjust my caregiving accordingly. My goal is to treat your pets exactly as you would yourself. I want to know of any medication or food restrictions, any behavior problems that I can help with and if a dog needs special handling. I have experience with all sizes and breeds of dogs, so no restrictions.
A typical day
I like to give as much attention as possible to dogs I care for so they feel less anxiety when their family is away. I do my best to keep their routines consistent as far as feeding,walks and potty breaks go. If they are playful I like to get out in the yard or park for games of catch or just running around or hiking a trail. If they are friendly I can bring my dog along (with owner's permission) for a play date. If I'm staying overnight I can include bathing and brushing in my services.
