Pet care experience
I have had both small dogs and large dogs before, and I love every breed! There's some nice grass right outside my apartment perfect for short walks for older dogs or simply short walks to do doggy business! I live within a 3-minute walk to the Boulder Creek Path and a large park! I'm very active, and love the outdoors so if your dog needs walking or exercise I am happy to help! I am only away from the house for short periods of time a few times a week for class (at most an hour). I recently adopted a chocolate lab puppy named Juno who is learning but very sociable and I am able to limit her to the top floor of my apartment if needed (she'll still have plenty of room up there to be happy. I love taking care of dogs and even though I have my own I truly cherish the time I get to spend with other dogs!

Anything the owner feels like is pertinent for me to know to take the best care of their beloved pet, I need to know! I understand each dog has different personalities, health conditions, and owners. I am very flexible with considerations for pets from inside the house to outside and willing to follow any specific instructions of care. Please let me know if the dog is sociable with other dogs, and your preference for socializing with other dogs just in case we come across another dog in the park or out on a walk. I do prefer boarding dogs that do not bark a lot, so I don't disturb my neighbors.
A typical day
I live a short 3-minute sidewalk walk to the Boulder Creek Path and a beautiful park with plenty of room for walking, running, and playing! Any duration of exercise you are comfortable with your dog doing I am up for! I would be happy to drive to hiking trails or go for runs with dogs that are able.
