Pet care experience
I love working with puppies and dogs to love them while guiding them. If you have something you are working on with your pup, please tell me so I can make sure I’m in alignment with your training! I’ve dogsat for years and absolutely love helping pet parents have peace of mind. Because of my rescue pup, I personally know how important it is to know your little guy or girl is safe and comfortable while you’re away.

Courtney was very nice and did a great job caring for Bisquick! She has a lovely home and a very nice fenced in back yard that was great for my pup. She also did a great job of updating me on how the day went. Will definitely be booking with Courtney again.

Courtney was awesome with our super energetic Zoey! I received timely updates and cute pictures/videos throughout the day. I could tell Zoey was enjoying her time and Courtney was sweet and caring to her by how happy Zoey was to see her on day 2. :)

I live in a one story home with a large privacy fenced backyard, so if you need your pet to stay with me during the day or overnight, I can accommodate! You can tailor their stay to their preferences. They would either stay in the guest room or in the living room area (very open and spacious). I have an XL size metal crate for those who are crate trained and extra blankets and comforters for them. They are welcome to play with Dubs’ toys and eat his treats. :) Dubs has fun with other dogs, but I will keep them separated since Dubs is typically accustomed to not sharing me with others in the home. The most recent pup visitor we had was a large hound puppy rescued from being hit by a car who stayed with us overnight while I searched for the owners. Good news - the owners were found! He and Dubs were well behaved, especially on walks. I’ve also had two cats stay for a long weekend with me. I kept Dubs in my room while the cats roamed free. At night they usually slept in the guest room where their beds and litter box were, but their last night they were allowed to roam throughout. :) As long as they (generally) listen when called, them being free is ideal to me.

I love all pups and have no breed restrictions or preferences! Before a stay or visit, I would like to know if they are human or animal reactive, what triggers they have, and if they have allergies or preferences (for food and general lifestyle). I probably won’t say no if they are reactive, I would just like to make sure I am equipped to care for them properly and keep everyone safe. :)
A typical day
I live in a neighborhood where lots of other dogs live, so if we go on walks, your pup is sure to meet new friends! In my home, there’s a whole basket of toys and a jar of special treats. The yard is huge and fenced, so lots of room to run.

I work remotely at home and am very flexible to whatever your needs are. I do ask that I have as much advanced notice as possible, but I understand that sometimes things come up. My younger brother lives with me and is also available to watch your pup if my schedule is busy that day or if an overnight is requested while I am out of town. :)
