I love pets and I’ve had them my entire life. I recently have lost my Black Lab “Shadow” after her living a very happy 17 year life. I adopted her from a humane society when I was a teenager and she was truly part of the family. Since, I’ve wanted a dog but almost feel guilty as if I’m “replacing” her so dog sitting is a perfect way to enjoy the company and companionship of a pet without a long term commitment. I do work a full time job but my significant other and I work opposite shifts so there typically isn’t a long gap between someone being home. I am a runner so as long as your dog is up for it - we can go running. I will also happily watch cats! But l’ll only watch one in my residence at a time to make for the safest stay possible.
