I have had a dog since I was 5 or 6. I have taken care of roommates dogs & cats. Most recently I have taken care & trained my sisters dog since he was a puppy. I'm gentle, understanding, patient. I don't mind getting dirty. I'm also playful. I am a great companion for dogs as my sisters dog Harley sleeps in my bed with me every night & almost never wants to leave my side. If I have to train I know when they are stressed & do not want to learn anymore but play. I'm very slow to anger when it comes to dogs & animals. Sometimes I'm timid with dog breeds who are considered aggressive because I do not have much exposure to them. Still I know ultimately a dogs behavior is not up to them but how the owner has trained them. If an owner introduces me to a dog breed I'm not used to being around & I get acquainted with them I feel much more comfortable. My dogs have been a labrador & now a cocker spaniel. That being said I'm very good with those breeds, similar breeds, & I'm starting to get acquainted with more gentle & easy going dog personalities as well. *1.) I made my radius so large so that I may take clients in Washington D.C., Arlington, Alexandria & everything that is west of DC but closet to the city since I'm there often. I do not mind taking care of pets there when I can & as much as possible. **2.) Please note that I will be taking dogs for boarding in my home on case by case basis as I am a renter.
