Often people refer to their dogs as just pets, I am not one of those people. I treat my client's pets as i would a child! I have always had a strong love for animals especially dogs! In addition to my numerous years of pet sitting, I'm also a volunteer dog walker for the Humane Society and I worked as a kennel technician at an animal hospital for 3+ years. I had one pet sitting job where a married couple could never take trips together because their dog would have such anxiety attacks that she wouldn't eat or even leave the bedroom. So I told them I'd see if the dog would warm up to me and so they took a day trip to see how she would do with me and with a little time and persistence by the end of the day she was up in my lap begging for belly rubs and kongs of peanut butter!
