Pet care experience
I have grown up with dogs and cats and have had dogs most of my many years on the planet. I have house and pet sat many times for friends and have always been requested back. I do well with training (my sister gave me her dog for six months to train her). My previous dog, who I still miss dearly, I had for 14 years, but I currently have two dogs and two cats, whom I am hoping will be happy and healthy for just as long if not longer. One of the cats needs medication daily to prevent seizures so understand the needs of animals that need extra care.

Cory is the best sitter ever. We were able to really enjoy our vacation because of him. He sent pics all along of our cat. He is responsible, reliable, and a real animal person. I would never use anyone else.

I have a small fenced in yard but walk my dogs to do their “business”. Yard is more for play, but is never a problem if they go in the yard. I do live with someone who loves animals (you have to when there are 4 of them). I live down the street from a local dog park as well. My dogs are large, but love other animals. If I were to keep a dog in my home though, I would need to make sure the cats would be safe.

I do not have a breed preference as long as the dog is friendly towards people and other animals. It is helpful to know any special needs of the dog before booking and it’s normal daily routine.
A typical day
The dogs will be walked and I always play with them with their favorite toys. If there is a park near by, that is even better.

Availability
I work M-F late morning to late afternoon, so for most people’s “lunchtime breaks” unfortunately would not work for me. If your animal has a super rigid schedule, it may be a problem.
