Pet care experience
Hello! My name is Dr. Cortney Loughran and I am a local small animal veterinarian. In my free time when I’m not working with animals I enjoy gardening, yoga and hiking with my own two dogs 🐶 ☺️ Being in this field, I know how stressful boarding pets can be, especially for our senior pets who may need some extra attention or young pets who need lots of exercise. I’d love for your fur babies to feel comfortable while you are away and I aim to make their experience (and yours) an enjoyable one! Whether a dog or cat I adapt easily to everyone’s needs. For example, if some homes have a fenced in yard..great! However, if an owner is not comfortable with their pet off leash I am more than happy to leash walk pets as needed on or off the property.

I am more than willing to accommodate any special requests as well.
A typical day
Proficiency skills: • Comfortable handling dogs, cats and many exotic pocket pets of all ages • Medicating dogs and cats • Can do injections (ex. Insulin injections) • Experience with low stress / fear-free handling techniques Wherever the owner is comfortable with me taking the dog I will go. I love going for long walks or short hikes with my own dog, and with dogs I’ve watched who are very energetic. I have a large field in walking distance of my house and I also have a fenced in backyard.
