Pet care experience
I am a recent grad from UC Santa Barbara. I absolutely love having a dog to keep me company while I work from home. Past experience: I had a small dog for 8 years and was the main caretaker for her in my household. I walked, bathed and fed her. I also regularly watch my friends' dogs whenever they are on vacation, so I have experience handling 2-3 dogs in one house. I also gained animal care experience by spending one of my summers in Thailand for a Pre-Veterinary Program. I had the opportunity to care for and tend to wounded elephants, as well as observe and help out at a dog clinic and shelter. I absolutely love animals and am hoping that this will allow me to spend more time with animals while also getting a chance to save up some money for my future plans!

Corrine took excellent care of Nicky while I was away for a 5-6 hour activity. It was my first time leaving him (other than a 2 hr visit a couple days prior.) She replied in a timely manner to not only my inquiry, but to ALL the many questions I asked her. She is a sweet caring lady and when we met at the meet and greet, I could sense her genuine care for dogs, particularly my little boy Nicky. She welcomed him eagerly the day of the sit, took great care of him through out the day and made a point of keeping his routine as well as following all instructions. I would happily recommend Corrine to care for your fur baby and hope to be able to have Nicky stay with her again.
Corrine was amazing with our corgi Nimbus. We were a little worried since our dog can be a handful and is very attached to us. We could tell Nimbus was in good hands right away and we are so happy we found her. She was great at giving us updates and sending us pictures throughout the stay. Corrine went above and beyond and we will definitely be using her again.
Corrine was great with our dog Simon! She was very communicative and made us feel safe. She gave him plenty of love and attention over his stay. We will definitely be using her services again!
Corrine was fantastic with Bella! I just moved to the area and had a hard time looking for a sitter that was a compatible fit for my anxious rescue. My dog fell in love with Corrine from the first meet and greet and I knew it was going to be a great time for her. Corrine sent me updates throughout the weekend and she was very understanding of my dog’s anxiety. 10/10

Please let me know where your pet is restricted from going, whether that be a certain area of your home or on furniture. I enjoy bringing dogs out with me on occasional coffee runs or strolls in old town, but only if that is something you and your pet is comfortable with!

Please let me know how your pet does in new homes, especially with rugs or carpet. I understand dogs who are potty trained can still try to mark new territories, so it helps if your dog has experience staying in other carpeted homes. If not, let me know and I can make sure to prep beforehand. Let me know how your dog handles separation anxiety so I can ensure they are comfortable when I have to run errands! (ie. do they enjoy car rides, do well at outdoor restaurants...etc)
A typical day
I usually take dogs on long walks through the neighborhood in the evening. We take shorter strolls in the afternoon to protect their paws from hot pavement on warm days. There's also a park near my home that I like to take the dogs exploring! There usually aren't too many people or other dogs at that park, so the dogs have room to run around on the grass without the stress of other dogs bothering us.

Availability
I currently work part time on Sundays, Mondays and Wednesdays, so my schedule works best for weekend trips! I have leeway in changing my work schedule so I’m always open to shifting my schedule to watch your pet if the need arises!
