Pet care experience
Attentive and caring Animal lover with over 7 years experience caring for animals including rabbits, dogs, cats and horses. Dogs relate well to me and tend to feel calm around me. I’ve been called “dog whisperer” by my clients. I am an experienced puppy trainer and will spend time training your puppy while they are here in basic obedience. For older dogs who know basic commands already I will just continue to reinforce good behavior and manners while they are here. For House/Dog/Cat Sitting: I will stop by your house in the morning and night and spend time with your pet. Depending on your pets needs I can spend time with them, feed them, take for a walk, play with them and hang out for a while to keep them company. The minimum time I’ll stay is 30 minutes for a cat and 1 hour for a dog, but we can discuss your pets needs and your preferences and I’m happy to stay for up to several hours if your pet just likes company. I typically do not do overnight stays, though if requested I may be able to stay over for 1-2 nights at most just because I have a family at home I need to be with. You can also try my drop-in service if 30 minutes is all you are needing. The main difference is drop-in I cover all the pet essentials and make sure they are doing well, but house sitting I do that and also spend some time keeping the pet company. I can also get your mail and water plants etc. if requested.
Reviews
Corrine has been great to work with and took great care of dog. Very pleased with her care and keeping us informed during our travel
Corrine was so fantastic with my dog Rory. She made some new friends and came home super happy and tuckered out from playing. Corrine also sent me plenty of photos of her out on walks, sleeping and playing so I always knew how my girl was doing :)
Corrine was very knowledgeable about introducing our pup to hers, and sent tons of pictures and updates while we were away!
Corrine took great care of our two dogs. She sent lots of updates and pictures. Our trip was so much more relaxing knowing they were in good hands.

While your dog is here my husband and I will play with them, take them on walks and make them feel part of the family. They will also get to make a friend with my Corgi, Gimli, who loves to play with other dogs of all kinds.
Information Corrine B. would like to know about your pet
Feel free to reach out with any questions. Gimli would love to be your dog’s new best friend . What to bring: - Your pet’s food for the length of stay and a food dish - Favorite bed or blanket - Leash and harness or collar - Their crate if they sleep in it Optional: - A toy, a raincoat, training treats Things I would love to know: - Does your dog enjoy meeting new dogs? - Any allergies or medications or behavior/health concerns? - Which commands does your dog respond well to? - What games does your dog like to play? - Any concerns if we go to the dog park? - Do they have any tendencies to run off/chase other animals/cars or try to escape the house that we should look out for? - Does your dog bark during the day if left alone for an hour or when left to sleep at night? If they do what helps calm them down in your experience? I have my own tricks for this if you don’t know. - Where does your dog usually sleep? With you? In a crate? In the living room or yard? If they sleep in your room 9/10 times they will cry at night at a new person’s house. Supplying a blanket or shirt that smells like you can ease this transition. About Me: I am a life coach and Senior Support Lead, for a software company. I also love acting and writing both fiction and non-fiction for my blog. Animals, especially dogs have been my constant companions throughout my life and my dog Gimli is my best friend. I was in 4H as a youngin and I would love to start a non-profit that trains dogs to be therapy pets for those with mental health disorders and also train my own pet as a therapy dog so we can visit mental hospitals to provide comfort and hope. I have seen how my dog has improved my life and mental health immensely just by being himself and how he can make others days brighter just by being sweet, and I love that about dogs. They are true friends.
A typical day
While your pup stays with us we will go for multiple walks per day, take multiple potty breaks as needed, play inside with toys and outside in the large grass area of our apartment complex. For longer stays we may go to the dog park if your pup likes to play with other dogs. Dogs can sit on our couch and relax with us as well. We live on the first floor and are in a great and safe area for walking.

I work from home which allows me lots of time with the dogs who come to play. I spend a significant amount of time cuddling, playing, petting and caring for the dogs when they are over. They will get just as much, if not more attention while they are here than they do at home so that they will feel calm and loved. I can work with dogs that are shy or skiddish and dogs that have energy and everything in between. I’ve never had a dog that didn’t leave happier than when they came and often they leave better behaved too.
