Hello, I am a graduate student in the school of natural resources here at UNL. I have experience working in a wolf sanctuary and in an exotic cat sanctuary (think lions and cheetahs). My senior cat recently passed but he was on an IV and a few pills so I know how to handle those. I've been with dogs (and other animals) my whole life and i've parented massive dogs to tiny dogs and im comfortable with any and every breed. Currently I have a 5 year old dog. She lived with my senior cat up until he passed recently. She is gentle with cats and other dogs but can play and have some fun around dogs who enjoy that. I can do minimal basic clicker training skills so if you have any requests, especially if im house sitting, I can work on it. Training is only done through possitive reinforcement, I am against violence as it is unnecessary and most of the time cruel. I can also bath your pets. I currently use an oatmeal shampoo thats normally pretty good for sensitive skin. If you need me to watch after other animals from fish to snakes to cats, I am very familiar with all of them as I maintained a 55 gallon freshwater tropical aquarium with an eel and i've had numerous other caged animals. For house sitting requests, my dog has to come as well.
